SCAA 6th Street Gallery 

Our SCAA Gallery is a charming local art gallery located at 22508 6th Street in an Old Town Newhall Historic building. We change out the exhibit every 4 to 6 weeks depending on the Gallery schedule. In each Galley show we accommodate approximately 20 artists with each artist displaying 2 to 3 pieces of wall art. In addition each artist can display smaller tabletop artwork, fine crafts, art in the print rack, and greeting cards. SCAA has beautifully renovated our building’s shady courtyard used for our Artist Receptions, artists demonstrations, and for displaying additional artwork while hosting.

Exhibiting artists are required to host four three-hour shifts during an 8-week show. Hosting artists will be able to bring additional cards, prints, and a few extra pieces of framed, original art to display on outdoor easels while they are hosting. The hours will vary with the season. March through October, we plan to be open Thursday evenings as well while the city is hosting Senses on Main events.

We are blessed to have this Gallery space and hope that all SCAA members will participate in exhibiting. Please promote the Gallery to friends and patrons. Support your fellow artists by coming to the opening Artist Receptions, visiting the Gallery often, offering to give demonstrations and volunteering your time to host or help. Our organization runs on volunteers, and all of us working together help educate our community about the value that the arts has in our lives. SCAA members are local art ambassadors, and we provide an important and unique art venue for our Santa Clarita community.

Interested in a Solo or Group Show at SCAA Gallery

The SCAA Gallery is available for specific dates each year for solo or group shows. SCAA Artist(s) in good membership standing will have the opportunity to utilize the SCAA Gallery for a two-week time frame, for solo or shared shows. (Shared shows are not to exceed four participants.) There will be a fee for use. All artists must display SCAA logo on promotional materials. Logos can be obtained on Forms, Procedures page.
