Retail Meets Fine Art: SCAA Debuts Expanded Public Art Windows Installation at Valencia Town Center3/14/2026 The Santa Clarita Artists Association is absolutely thrilled to celebrate our ongoing, high-profile corporate public art partnership with the management team at the Valencia Town Center! In a major victory for local visibility, SCAA has successfully transformed five prominent, street-level retail display storefront windows into a vibrant, rotating public pop-up fine art museum. Located on the bustling lower level conveniently situated right outside the Macy’s courtyard entrance, this continuous public installation brings high-end, original member artwork directly into the community’s daily path. It creates an active, inspiring street-side gallery for thousands of weekly shoppers, families, and dining patrons.
A High-End Retail Aesthetic & Frictionless Smartphone Purchasing
This innovative storefront installation is a spectacular example of modern public art architecture. To maintain a pristine, sophisticated, and high-end gallery aesthetic, no traditional paperwork, clutter, or price tags are posted inside the windows. Instead, each individual display window features a custom, high-contrast QR code that passersby can instantly scan with their smartphones. Scanning the code launches a secure, hidden online portal on our website, allowing local art lovers to immediately get in touch with our coordinator to inquire about works and collecting on the spot! It is a seamless fusion of local culture and modern technology that makes collecting fine art more accessible than ever. Featured Artists in the Current Rotation: We are incredibly proud to highlight the diverse member talent representing SCAA inside the windows for the current seasonal cycle:
A massive, heartfelt thank you goes out to our tireless corporate coordinators and our dedicated team of artists who volunteer their time to climb inside the windows, adjust the professional spotlights, and hang these masterpieces perfectly. The next time you are out shopping or dining near the Macy's courtyard, take a long walk past our windows and experience this incredible explosion of local talent in person! A massive, heartfelt thank you goes out to Valencia Town Center Coordinator, Trevalyn Topper, whose logistical planning, corporate communication, and dedication keep this complex partnership running flawlessly. We also extend our deep gratitude to our wonderful artists who volunteer their time to climb inside the retail windows, adjust the professional spotlights, and hang these masterpieces perfectly. The next time you are out shopping or dining near the Macy's courtyard, take a long walk past our windows, scan the custom QR codes, and experience this incredible explosion of local high-desert talent in person.
