SCAA congratulates longtime SCAA member and Programs Chair, Gary Friedman on his original watercolor painting, 'Birdy Creek', being accepted into the highly competitive National Watercolor Society (NWS) 106th International Exhibition Out of more than 700 elite worldwide submissions, an esteemed panel of master jurors—Ratindra Das, Robbie Laird, and Gale Webb—selected just 100 masterworks for inclusion on the global stage. Having an SCAA artist recognized on such a prestigious platform is a brilliant testament to the thriving, professional talent we are dedicated to cultivating right here in the Santa Clarita Valley.
