 A packed gallery for Freshly Squeezed: Citrus Summer The SCAA Gallery on 6th Street was bursting with vibrant color and high community energy on Saturday, June 20th, as we hosted our official public opening reception for Freshly Squeezed: Citrus Summer!
From August 5 through September 2, this vibrant local exhibition by Jane Mick offers our community an immersive look into the unique mastery of multi-layered dimension, sophistication, and glamorous texture.
 SCAA welcomed one of Ventura County's most accomplished fine artists, Jem Atwater, as our guest demonstrator for our June 15th monthly meeting. Held inside the Newhall Library Community Room, the evening brought together local creatives and art lovers for an unforgettable look into the mind and technique of a true master of coastal light.
 There is something truly magical about gathering together to connect, laugh, and share stories outside of the studio! SCAA member artists did exactly that as we kicked back for our highly anticipated Annual SCAA Summer Barbecue, on June 14th. It was an absolutely beautiful day of laughter, sunshine, and pure creative camaraderie that reminded us all why our community is so special.
