Share Studio Victories and Beat Creative Burnout!
The creative journey shouldn't be lonely.
Every artist struggles at times to make a piece communicate exactly what they intended. The SCAA Critique Circle is a gentle, safe, and confidential round-table environment designed to help you break through those creative blocks, talk shop, and find fresh inspiration alongside your artistic family.

Ways to Participate
<
>
- A Collaboration of Equals: This is a round-table discussion, not a lecture. Our circle relies on the collective eyes, experiences, and diverse backgrounds of all artists in attendance. Everyone is encouraged to share insights and celebrate successes.
- The Facilitator's Role: Our facilitator, Bob Hernandez, manages the clock and guides the conversation using foundational design principles to ensure the environment remains strictly constructive, respectful, and encouraging.
- Bring Your Art: Members can bring 1–2 pieces of in-progress or recently finished artwork. We offer constructive feedback on composition, values, design principles, and technique in a completely supportive atmosphere.
- Just Come to Listen: Nervous about having your work reviewed? Leave your art at home! Pull up a chair, enjoy the conversation, and listen to fellow artists connect. You will still walk away deeply inspired.
