This fine art exhibition explores contemporary interior still life. By capturing intimate, everyday vignettes—from discarded shoes to pizza boxes splayed throughout our homes—the show reveals the quiet beauty, humor, and story found in our most ordinary belongings.

Submissions should depict interior scenes and objects typically found within the home, garage, or backyard—items that bring the viewer into relatable everyday life. We encourage both traditional still lifes and those that go beyond the common subject matter: think toothbrushes, junk mail, dog toys, dirty laundry, or even feet propped up with a beer and some BBQ.

Entry Requirements

Before filling out the form below, please ensure you and your artwork comply with our full gallery policies. Items that fail to meet these standards will be rejected at drop-off.

• Show Parameters: All 2D and 3D fine art mediums are welcome. Artwork must not have been exhibited at the SCAA Gallery within the past two years.
• Hanging & Display: All 2D and 3D hanging work must be securely wired for our hook-and-wire hanging system. Sawtooth hangers, cleats, Velcro, tape, and Command strips are strictly prohibited. 3D tabletop work must fit our standard pedestals or available floor space.
• Content & Originality: Submissions must be original, free of copyright infringement, and created strictly without the use of AI or video. Classroom or instructor-led studies are also prohibited. Because our exhibits are open to all ages, work containing sexualized nudity, strong language, or divisive religious/political themes will not be considered.
• Full Handbook: These are just the core thematic rules. When exhibiting, you are bound to all framing, sizing, commission, copyright, and hosting rules outlined in our master policy.

• Artwork Drop-Off: Tuesday, July 28, 3:00 – 6:00 PM
• Exhibition Dates: July 31 – August 30
• Artist Reception: Saturday, August 1, 5:00 – 8:00 PM
• Artwork Pickup: Tuesday, September 1, 3:00 – 6:00 PM*
