Although I was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, I grew up in Maryland and New Jersey, where I received a B. A. with honors in Art/ Art History from Upsala. I came to Los Angeles, explored a bit, then settled in and obtained a certificate in Graphic Art. This led to my career as a graphic artist and designer with Remo, Inc., where I created artwork for world percussion, textiles and large displays. Inspired by my brilliant artist father, Zygmunt Bukowski, I have since returned to my first inclination: brush painting.
Although he worked in oils, my medium is acrylic. I have done some teaching at Bella Vida, and recently joined the Santa Clarita Artists Association.
