Becoming an official member unlocks wonderful opportunities to share your work, grow your skills, and connect with a warm, supportive network of local creatives.

  • Exhibition Opportunities: Display and sell your fine art at the SCAA Gallery, rent the venue for solo shows, or participate in community spaces like the Canyon Theatre Guild and Valencia Town Center.
  • Festivals, Socials, & Competitions: Showcase your art at our annual judged Art Classic Fine Art Competition, the Le Chêne Art Festival, and enjoy our member BBQ and holiday party.
  • Education & Workshops: Learn side-by-side with local creators through guest artist demonstrations, hands-on workshops, gallery Artist Labs, and monthly peer critiques.
  • Your Own Web Page: Get a free, dedicated artist portfolio page hosted directly on our website to share your story and link back to your personal channels.
  • Invest in the Future: A portion of your annual dues directly funds our annual High School Student Scholarship Program for local youth.

Membership Levels

General Membership
​$55 / year

Artists aged 16 and over. Enjoy full gallery exhibition privileges, eligibility to serve on the board, and association voting rights.

Senior Membership
​$45 / year

Artists aged 60 and over. Enjoy all general member benefits, board eligibility, and association voting privileges at a special rate.

Student Membership
​$25 / year

Full-time high school or college students aged 16 to 25. (College students must be enrolled in 12+ credits or dual-enrolled)

Patron Membership
​$50 / year

For non-artists, collectors, and advocates supporting SCAA's programs, exhibitions, and local scholarships.
​Important Note on Dues: SCAA memberships run on a standard calendar-year basis and are not pro-rated. However, memberships paid October–December will automatically carry over to cover the entire following year!

​(Note: Ages 18+ required for voting/board seats; parental consent required to exhibit if under 18)

    Please fill out your current information completely. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.
    Privacy Notice: Our internal membership roster is kept strictly confidential and is used only by SCAA board members and committees. Our online Artist Directory is a public list of current members. We never sell or share your personal information. 
    List the creative mediums you work in (e.g., Oil, Watercolor, Clay, Photography). This helps our team with future programming. If you are a non-artist, please type "Patron."
    SCAA runs entirely on the energy of our amazing volunteers! Select any areas where you would love to help out, meet people, or learn a new skill:
    Liability Waiver & Commission Agreement
    ​    The Santa Clarita Artists’ Association [SCAA], the SCAA Board Members, their volunteers, agents, and employees assume no responsibility for loss, theft, damage or destruction of any artwork during handling or exhibiting of artwork at any venue/ event/show sponsored by the SCAA. The SCAA and the venue/event/show location's owner(s) are not responsible for Personal Loss/Injury.

    It is understood that a 25% commission will be paid to the SCAA if any member's artwork is sold while on display at any venue/event/show sponsored by the SCAA or as a direct result of an SCAA-sponsored event/exhibition. This agreement will remain enforced as long as the artist is a member of the SCAA or until policy/procedure changes and a new signature statement is required.
    ​By checking this box and paying my dues, I certify that I have read and agree to all SCAA membership terms and policies. I understand that memberships run on a standard calendar-year basis (renewals due in January), with the exception that new or renewing memberships paid between October and December will carry over to cover the entire following calendar year. I also acknowledge and agree to the standard commission split retained by SCAA on all association exhibition and event sales.
