Members Benefits/ Join or Renew

 All members welcome from the novice to the more experienced artist!

Support the visual arts by becoming a member of the Santa Clarita Artists' Association. You will also be contributing to the SCAA's scholarship program for students in the Santa Clarita Valley. We present numerous member exhibits throughout Santa Clarita, have exciting, educational monthly demonstrations by professional artists, and thoroughly enjoy the camaraderie.
Cost to join:
Full Membership: $50.00
Senior (60+): $40.00
Student: $20.00 (* Must be full time student, including college with 12+ units).

Membership Benefits

The Santa Clarita Artists' Association [SCAA] has been the only non-profit Fine Art association in Santa Clarita since 1989. Joining the SCAA gives artists direction and opportunities to learn, grow and present themselves as professional artists worldwide.

Benefits to being a member of the SCAA include:

1. Exhibit opportunities in many venues around Santa Clarita. Please visit our Current Exhibits Venue page for a current list.
2. Monthly membership Meetings featuring demonstrations by well known artists, as well as educational guest speakers covering such topics as marketing, advertising, how to enter shows, photographing your artwork, and how to sell your art work.
3. The SCAA presents The Art Classic every year in October. This is a "members only" judged (with awards) art show and gala fundraiser. Members who enter the show receive 2 free tickets to this event.
4. Discounts on educational art workshops.
5. Ability to serve on the board, and in various committees.
6. Each member receives a free web page, or a link to your own "art related" website and/or blog. The web page features up to 4 images of your artwork, a head shot and a bio. If you do not yet have a link to your website, send the web address to me. If you prefer to have an artist page, please email a word document with your artist statement and bio, photo of you and up to 4 images of your artwork in jpg form to Charlotte Mullich at charartstudio@gmail.com

Once the payment has been completed, you will be redirected back to this page from PayPal. If you are a new member, you can then complete the Membership Form further down the page. (If renewing, you will not need to complete the Membership Form.)

Memberships are based on the calendar year with renewals in January. Please note that renewals or new memberships made in November or December carry over to the new year.

    Liability Waiver & Commission Agreement

    The Santa Clarita Artists’ Association [SCAA], the SCAA Board Members, their volunteers, agents, and employees assume no responsibility for loss, theft, damage or destruction of any artwork during handling or exhibiting of artwork at any venue/ event/show sponsored by the SCAA. The SCAA and the venue/event/show location's owner(s) are not responsible for Personal Loss/Injury.

    It is understood that a 25% commission (per piece) will be paid to the SCAA if any member's artwork is sold while on display at any venue/event/show sponsored by the SCAA. This agreement will remain enforced as long as the artist is a member of the SCAA or until policy/procedure changes and a new signature statement is required.

    To print a copy of your New/Renewal Form before you submit, please follow these instructions:

    Step 1. Go to the browser window that contains the content you would like to print.
    Step 2. Press both the "Ctrl" and the "P" button on your keyboard at the same time as a short-cut or go “File” on the top menu of your browser, and select “Print…” from the drop-down menu.
    Step 3. The “Print” dialog window will appear.
    Step 4. Once this window opens, if you would like to change any setting or change the number of copies you would like to print, please do so now and then click the “Apply” button (if it is not “grayed” out).
