Why Join SCAA?

Member Benefits

Since 1989, SCAA has been the premier non-profit fine art association in Santa Clarita. While many of our educational programs are always open to the public, becoming an official member unlocks wonderful opportunities to share your work and grow personally and professionally:
  • Exhibition Opportunities: Showcase and sell your original fine art at the SCAA Gallery—with the unique option to rent the venue for solo or small group shows—plus take part in community exhibition spaces, like Canyon Theatre Guild or Valencia Town Center, and pop-ups within the Santa Clarita Valley.
  • Annual Competitions, Festivals, & Gatherings: Get entry to showcase your art and celebrate at our signature annual events, including The Art Classic judged competition and silent auction, the Le Chêne Summer Art Festival, our casual summer BBQ, and our festive holiday party.
  • Education & Workshops: Learn side-by-side with other local creators through guest artist demonstrations,  hands-on workshops, and friendly peer critique sessions.
  • Your Own Artist Web Page: Establish your digital presence with a free, custom artist portfolio page hosted directly on our website to share your headshot, biography, and up to four of your artworks—complete with a link back to your personal art website or blog and social media channels!
  • Creative Camaraderie: Connect, collaborate, and share inspiration with a warm, supportive network of passionate local creatives at our social gatherings, gallery receptions, meetups, and events.
  • Invest in the Future of Art: A portion of your annual dues directly funds our annual high school scholarship program, supporting the next generation of visual artists right here in the Santa Clarita Valley!

All artists are welcome – from the hobbyist to the more seasoned professional!
