​SCAA Members-Only Exhibition

What happens when separate elements are brought together to create a brand-new story? This unique show celebrates the texture, depth, and innovation of mixed media. We are challenging artists to explore the art of fragmentation and reconstruction through layered, tactile materials. 
​
This exhibition is dedicated entirely to mixed media, collage, and found or recycled items – art that breaks away from single-medium constraints. Think layered stories, reinvented objects, and rich textures. Whether your practice involves traditional paper collage, innovative fiber arts with mixed elements, mosaic, or sculptural assemblages made from repurposed items - if it is built from diverse components, it belongs here!

NOTE: Traditional single-medium works like flat photography or standard, un-embellished, single media paintings are excluded for this specific showcase.

📅 Important Dates & Deadlines

• October 25 (Sunday): Submission Deadline
• October 27 (Tuesday): Artist Notifications Emailed*
• November 3 (Tuesday) | 3:00–6:00 PM: Artwork Drop-Off & Intake
• November 6 – November 29: Exhibition Dates
• November 7 (Saturday) | 5:00–8:00 PM: Opening Reception
• December 1 (Tuesday) | 3:00–6:00 PM: Required Artwork Pickup**

*Due to rare technical glitches, if you do not receive an email by the end of Notification Day, you must contact our team within 24 hours to check your status. Inquiries received after that 24-hour window cannot be considered.

The SCAA Gallery is dedicated to showcasing local fine art at an elite, professional standard. To cultivate a thriving environment that drives sales and honors our patrons, all exhibitors must align with strict, consistent presentation criteria.

Art Submission

Please fill out all required fields below to submit your work to the Art Selection Committee. 

​Reminder: You must be an active SCAA member to participate. If you need to renew or join, please complete your Membership Application before submitting this form.

📝 Submission Checklist:
Before starting the form below, please have the following information and files ready:

• Artwork Details: Title, Medium, and Price (all works must be for sale).
• Dimensions: Final presentation size, including the frame.
• Image File: High-resolution JPG or PNG (1 MB max).
• File Naming Format: Label your file as FirstLast_ArtworkTitle (e.g., JaneDoe_TwilightSky).
• Image Cropping: Crop photos directly to the edges of the artwork. No mats, frames, or background distractions (except for 3D/sculpture pieces, which should have a clean, neutral background). Improperly cropped images will be trimmed by the committee and will not be used in show promotions.
