Located in the heart of the vibrant Arts & Entertainment District, our historic storefront provides a pristine, professional setting to showcase your vision. SCAA proudly opens the space during select, predetermined weekends for member-driven exhibitions.

Gallery Rental FAQs & Tiered Pricing
Review our baseline venue policies and rental structures before submitting a calendar inquiry:

• Artist Eligibility: Gallery rentals are a premium benefit available exclusively to active SCAA members in good standing with SCAA and the SCAA Gallery Committee (solo artists or small collaborative groups). 
• Predetermined Weekend Options: Members do not select random dates. At the start of each booking cycle, SCAA releases a fixed list of available exhibition weekends in Thursday through Monday blocks, based on the master exhibition calendar.
• Rental Tier Rates:
  • Single Weekend Block (Thurs-Mon) $150 total (Perfect for rapid pop-up showcases!)
  • Two Consecutive Weekends Block: $250 total (Subject to master calendar availability)
• Deposits & Balances: A $50 non-refundable deposit is required via our secure Square terminal to officially lock your chosen dates onto the master calendar. The remaining balance (or a formal written cancellation request) is due exactly two months prior to your show's opening day. Bookings within 2 months of the rental period will require the full balance to secure.
• Public & Private Receptions: Hosting an opening or closing reception is a wonderful highlight! To protect the association, all food and beverage paths must strictly comply with Los Angeles County Health Regulations, which are clearly outlined inside your formal rental contract.
• Gallery Docent Duties: The renting artists are fully responsible for staffing and hosting the gallery during all standard public weekend hours for the duration of their private rental block.
• Sales & Commissions: SCAA retains a standard 25% commission on all gallery sales made during the rental period to fund our community art programming.

Rental Calendar Availability

• 2026 Calendar Status: FULLY BOOKED. Our private gallery rental calendar is completely filled for the remainder of the 2026 calendar year.
• 2027 Calendar Status: PENDING MASTER SCHEDULE. The official list of available 2027 rental weekends will be formally posted here once our exhibition programming is locked in. Submitting the form below places you on our priority waitlist to get first pick of the predetermined dates!
