Welcome to the official SCAA Art Classic Silent Auction gallery! Every bid you place directly supports the Santa Clarita Artists Association's member programs and our annual student scholarship program, helping nurture the next generation of local artists.

Can't attend the live exhibit in person? You don't have to miss out! Our hybrid bidding system allows you to place proxy bids online ahead of time to secure your favorite pieces.

How Online & Proxy Bidding Works
We want to keep bidding simple, transparent, and fair for everyone. Here is how our manual bidding process works:

1. Browse the Gallery: Scroll down to view the growing collection of original fine art, artisan crafts, and local business gift packages.
2. Place Your Bid: Each item has its own dedicated bidding form. Click the PLACE A BID button under the specific item you want, fill out your name, contact info, and your maximum bid amount.
3. The Live Event Transfer: Online bidding will officially close on September 30th at 11:59 PM. The highest online bids will be printed directly onto the physical silent auction sheets for the opening day of the Art Classic exhibit.
4. The Final Whistle: Attendees at the live exhibit will have the opportunity to raise the bids on those printouts. If no one at the live event outbids your online placement, you win the item! We will contact all off-site winners immediately following the close of the event to arrange payment and pickup.

Important Pickup & Forfeiture Policies
To ensure our student scholarship fund receives its proceeds promptly and to prevent logistical storage challenges for our volunteers, please review our official auction policies before placing a bid:

• 24-Hour Online Payment Requirement: Off-site winners will be notified via email or text immediately following the auction's close. All off-site winners must remit payment online via our secure link within 24 hours of notification before an item can be released or a gallery pickup can be finalized. Unpaid items will immediately be offered to the next highest bidder.
• Firm Pickup Deadline: All auction items must be collected from the exhibition venue immediately after the event closes, or picked up at the SCAA Gallery during regular hours by October 11. Gallery Hours: Fri 5-8, Sat 11-8, Sun 11-5. 
• Forfeiture Clause: Any items left uncollected after the deadline, regardless of payment status, will be considered forfeited. These items will be treated as a tax-deductible donation back to the SCAA to be re-auctioned or used for future fundraising.
• Designated Pickup Proxy: If you cannot collect your winning item personally, you must notify the auction committee via email with the name of your authorized proxy who will pick it up on your behalf.
• Shipping at Buyer's Expense: If physical pickup is impossible, shipping can be arranged. The winning bidder is 100% responsible for all packaging, handling, and shipping fees, which will be invoiced separately before the item is shipped.

Are you an SCAA member or a local Santa Clarita business owner with an item or experience to contribute? To prevent logistics overwhelm and ensure a high-curation gallery, we limit total donations to two items per person/business.

Step 1: Remit Your Payment Online (Required Within 24 Hours)
To secure your item, please complete your payment online within 24 hours of receiving this notice by clicking the secure link below. Please note that online payment is required to claim your item, even if you plan to pick it up at the gallery later:

Note: If online payment is not completed within 24 hours, the item will be offered to the runner-up bidder.
Step 2: Collect Your Item
Once your online payment is complete, your item will be marked as secure. You can collect your artwork at the following times:

• Immediate Venue Pickup: At the exhibition venue tonight until [Time].
• Gallery Pickup: At the SCAA gallery during regular hours between [Start Date] and [End Date Pickup Deadline]. Please bring a copy of your digital payment receipt to show the gallery volunteer.
