Member Summer Social
​Every June, the Santa Clarita Artists Association kicks back to celebrate the high-energy rush of summer with our highly anticipated Annual Member Barbecue! This private, relaxed social tradition brings our artist family together to share stories, laugh, and enjoy exceptional food under the summer sun. It is the ultimate opportunity to get to know each other socially and connect outside of our formal gallery and event settings.

• Annual Event Window: Mid-June (Typically a Sunday evening from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
• Provided Mains: SCAA generously provides the master grilling logistics, fresh burgers, hot dogs, cold sodas, and spring waters.
• Beverage Policy: Non-alcoholic drinks are provided. Members are warmly welcome to bring their own adult beverages of choice (BYOB).
• Current Status: CONCLUDED FOR 2026. A massive, heartfelt thank you to our incredible hosts, grill master, and volunteers who made this summer's gathering an absolute success!​

To ensure a perfectly balanced, delicious summer buffet spread for our members and their guests, potluck assignments are structured systematically by the first letter of your last name:

• 🥗 Last Names A through K: Appetizers & Starters (e.g., chips & dip, fruit skewers, finger foods)
• 🍅 Last Names L through S: Fresh Summer Salads & Sides (e.g., pasta salad, potato salad, green greens)
• 🍰 Last Names T through Z: Gourmet Desserts & Sweet Treats (e.g., brownies, cookies, pies)

NOW CLOSED. RSVPs for this member social is closed for the season. We had a great time together in June 2026 and look forward to our next get together!
