Our annual Art Classic is a massive, high-profile community tradition, and bringing it to life takes a highly coordinated team. Both SCAA members and community partners are warmly invited to dedicate their unique time, skills, and energy to make this year's event our most successful celebration yet!

Even if you have volunteered at the Art Classic in prior years, everyone must officially register using the form below. To ensure an organized and successful event, we cannot rely on unconfirmed attendance.

Silent Auction Team [🟢 NOW FULL]

Directly help support future artists! Our silent auction helps to fund our student scholarship program and SCAA Programming.

• Secure local business and artist donations
• Coordinate and organization a beautiful display at the event
• Oversee auction bids and sales with the help of our cashier team
• Ensure bid winners receive their items during and after the event

Hospitality Team

Help provide a beautiful experience for our guests with an engaging display of refreshments!

• Plan and coordinate food, beverage, and bar logistics
• Secure and coordinate local business donations
• Purchase and gather necessary supplies
• Overseeing the layout and presentation of guest refreshments. 
• Team Leaders & Workers Needed

Design & Decor Team

Help to beautify the space and set the aesthetic tone for the entire event!

• Execute our visual theme by styling gala tables & centerpieces
• Place event signage, floral arrangements, and other decor
• Use your keen aesthetic eye to ensure our overall presentation looks professional and beautiful
• Workers Needed

Check-In Team [🟢 NOW FULL]

Let by Karen Martinez, Membership Chair

• Greet arriving artists
• Certify official entry rosters and ensure art guidelines are met
• Assist with intake directives

Sales Desk

• Process art and silent auction sales
• Manage checkout processes
• Process bar sales and donations
• Team Leaders and Workers Needed

Award Runners

Led by Dianne Porter, Publicity Chair

Fast-paced, high-energy role assisting the awards team by safely transporting winning ribbons directly to the exhibition walls.

• Writers for the back of ribbons before the awards presentation
• Hand out ribbons and pins during the awards presentation
• Works quickly and calmly under pressure
• Workers Needed

Logistics & Facilities Team

Led by Howard Marcovitch, Bulding & Logistics Chair

Assist with the physical venue staging, layout setup, and final tear-down while protecting the safety of the artwork.

• Help load/unload vans and trucks
• Pick up rentals and equipment
• Assemble art display panels and lighting
• Event setup and tear down​

Photographers

Capture high-resolution crowd moments, stunning exhibit displays, and our official awards presentations.
