SCAA is hosting the first High School Gallery Show these talented students are from the following participating High Schools:
Canyon, Hart, Saugus, West Ranch and Learning Post

To enter “Student Art Show”, go to the link below and follow the simple online submission procedures. For technical submission questions, please contact Kathy Gonzales at (661) 713-5924.   • Safety protocols and city guidelines will be put in place.
  • Artists' work will also be posted in a photo montage on social media including our SCAA Gallery Facebook page and on Instagram which artists can share with family and friends.
  • Work must be photographed in such a way that it is clearly visible at a resolution of 300dpi, with NO mats or frames showing. Cell phone pictures are fine for this. If you need help with submitting or taking photo's let us know. JPEG FILES SHOULD INCLUDE ARTISTS' NAME AND TITLE IN THE NAME. EX:Mardilan Georgio Patience.jpg
  • All the important information must be included- Artist name, Title of work, Price, and Medium
  • Each artist must fill out the Gallery Form online listing all works entered for the show. It is recommended that artists keep their own inventory list.
  • SCAA 25% commission will apply if work is sold. Up to four pieces may be submitted. There will be a $15 Gallery fee to enter. (Informational only does not apply to students)

  • Meet at the SCAA Gallery Anytime within these hours 4-6pm: September 1, 2021
Fill out the form on the SCAA Website under 2021 Student Gallery show (below)
  • Meet at the SCAA Gallery anytime within these hours. 3-6pm - September 8,2021
Bring any finished works to be matted and framed. Learn about your roles for the Gallery Opening!
  • Deadline to submit: September 15, 2021
You must enter online to submit your photos of your artworks as this is a part of the submission process to show at the gallery.
DO NOT FORGET
  • Hanging the show and curating. September 29, 2021 4-6pm
The Hanging Crew will meet to learn how to hang and set lights.
  • Final Curation of the show: September 30, 2021 4-6pm
All are invited to come and learn how a show is curated. What little adjustments make the impact desired and reach the final presentation.
  • HS Gallery Show Opening Day!: October 01, 2021 4:00-8:00 pm
  • Hospitality Crew set up time: 4pm
  • Setup for refreshments and chairs for the show. All hospitality crew will need to be present for this.
  • Gallery Crew: 5pm
  • Gallery Crew needs to arrive to learn how to use the iPAD cash register and what to do for hosting the guests.
  • Gallery Opening!: 6:00 pm - 8:00pm
  • Guests arrive and we all enjoy the evening of fun!
  • Wheel of Fortune! For participating artists: 7pm
  • Hospitality Crew: 8:00 pm
  • Quick clean up, All are welcomed to help clean up!

Media Scheduled for the Media Crew will be set as I have final dates from SCTV and KHTS Radio.
