I have loved
all forms of art since I was a small child and always had a
crayon or pencil in my hand wanting to put what I saw on
paper. When I was eight I won an art
contest at school for a colored pencil drawing of two
colorful condors. That sealed it......I would become an artist/painter.
As the years passed life took over and I ended up a happy working mother of a wonderful son. I am
basically self-taught only taking painting classes on
Saturdays for one year. I loved it and ended up
selling quite a number of my
paintings on the beaches of Southern California on weekends.
But, I still had to work and not
long after found another love of art as a Motion Picture
Sound Editor at Warner Bros. Studio for the next 40 years. I painted on and off during those years but never really got
to devote the time I wanted to my painting. I retired a few years ago and found now is the time for me to
live my dream and paint to my hearts content.
I am looking
forward to creating many, many paintings in oils and
acrylics. I hope you will
enjoy my paintings as much as I enjoy creating
them. Please visit my web site to

"4th
and Goal"
36" x
36" - Oil on Canvas
I wanted
to do an oil painting for my son, Ty, then
14 years old. He loved sports and was the
typical teenager loving life. This painting
hung in his room for a few
years
until he moved on to skateboarding, surfing
and snow skiing. If not for him I may never
have tackled doing any sports paintings.
Bless that boy.

"'Elephant Walk"
18" x 36" - Oil on Canvas
I have a deep love and respect for elephants
(Pachyderms) African and Asian.
I remember years back seeing Elizabeth Taylor in an
interesting film titled "Elephant Walk" - this began my
deep interest, love and concern for these beautiful
mammals, and inspired me to put them on canvas.

"On The Hunt"
18" x 36" - Oil on Canvas
Wildlife is one of my passions. Wolves being
another of my loves and interests I was moved to paint
these wolves in the wild, and on the hunt.

"Girl With A Flute"
18" x 36" - Oil on Canvas
I loved doing this painting and let my imagination lead
me. This girl with the flute inspired me to work again
with the human figure and bright impacting color.
Originally I thought of this beautiful girl on the
canvas alone but as the painting progressed I added the
cello and eventually the colorful wall hanging. Hope
you like it too.

"Day At The Beach"
18" x 36" - Oil on Canvas (Original sold)
I did this painting for my very special friends and
added their dog, Jackson, because he is so loved and
goes everywhere with them. Jackson is also my dog's
best friend and they spend as much time together as they can,
so he was a natural to be included in the painting.
Chris, is a personal trainer and absolutely loves the
outdoors and the beach. This painting hangs in the
master bedroom so she could wake up to a peaceful view
of one of her favorite places.
