Elliott
"Ed" Edelson works in water color, acrylic, pastels, crayon, and charcoal. He has been working with Italian, French and country scenes. He is currently at work with acrylic as his favorite medium.
Ed has shown his work at the Santa Clarita Artists' Association's gallery and had a one-man show,
"Sunflowers", last year at the Valencia Library. He is a retired teacher and resides locally with his wife,
Joyce.

One summer, on a boat ride from mid-Cape to Nantucket, this
peaceful scene of the boats docked at a sandspit and in front of an old
boat shack caught my interest. I took many photos to use as reference.
With complete abandon, not worrying about details, I went on to produce
the painting. I think I caught the tranquility of the moment very well.
